    For 2023, two special edition trims join the Bronco Sport lineup: The Heritage Edition and the Heritage Limited Edition. Both trims feature vintage Bronco styling cues, such as muted exterior paint colors and white trim elements. The Heritage Edition is based on the Big Bend model, while the Heritage Limited Edition is built on the Badlands trim. The Heritage Limited Edition offers more off-road capabilities than the Heritage Edition, with 29-inch all-terrain tires and an exclusive all-wheel drive system. According to the Navajo County Ford dealership, the Bronco Sport Big Bend and Outer Banks trims get a new available Black Diamond Off-Road package with unique 17-inch gray wheels, steel bash plates, and exclusive hood and body graphics.

      The 2023 Bronco Sport receives accolades from the automotive media, with Motor Trend writing: “The Bronco Sport delivers a fun retro design, a creative interior with varying colors and textures, and legitimate capability away from pavement. We love the sweet new Heritage Edition packages too. The short wheelbase, generous ground clearance, and clever off-road modes make this pint-sized off-roader feel unstoppable. Adding the Black Diamond Off-Road package to the Big Bend or Outer Banks trims only improves their trail prowess.”

        The 2023 Ford Bronco Sport is offered in six trims: Base, Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Heritage Limited. The first four trims are powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that generates 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. The other trims are fitted with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 250 hp and 277 lb-ft. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and come equipped with all-wheel drive.

          EPA-estimated fuel economy for the turbocharged 1.5-liter engine is rated at 25 mpg city/28 mpg highway, while the 2.0-liter turbo-four returns 21 mpg city/26 mpg highway.*

          On the inside, the lower trims come with cloth seating. The Heritage features plaid-patterned cloth, and the Heritage Limited gets standard leather upholstery. Passengers have plenty of space to stretch out and stay comfortable. There’s lots of cargo space, too, with 32.5 cubic feet behind the rear seats for models with the base engine and 29.4 cubic feet with the upgraded powerplant. Fold the rear seats down, and 65.2 or 60.6 cubes are available to store your stuff.
