The XLT and Lariat get an available 2.7-liter EcoBoost twin-turbocharged V6 that cranks out 315 hp and a whopping 400 lb-ft of torque. The Ranger Raptor is equipped with a 3.0-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 specifically tuned for off-road dominance. This unit develops 405 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. All engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The 2024 Ford Ranger has a maximum tow rating of 7,500 pounds. The payload is rated at 1,805 pounds for rear-wheel-drive models and 1,711 pounds for all-wheel drive. The Raptor can tow up to 5,510 pounds and haul up to 1,411 pounds.
