The exterior gets a fresh look with redesigned front and rear fascias, and the interior is upgraded with premium materials for enhanced comfort.     2025 Ford Explorer Active
    The Active, ST-Line, and Platinum trims are powered by a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine generating 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. According to the Camp Verde Ford dealership, rear-wheel drive comes standard, and all-wheel drive is available.

    Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, heated power mirrors, rear privacy glass, a power liftgate, keyless entry, and wiper-activated LED headlights. Inside, the Active comes with cloth upholstery, heated front seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat, a four-way power front passenger seat, a 35/30/35-split folding second-row bench, and 50/50 split third-row seats with a fold-flat function. Other standard features include one-touch up/down power front windows, three-zone automatic climate control, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The standard Tow Package features a Class III hitch that enables a 5,000-pound towing capacity.

    Technology features include a 13.2-inch color infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Google Assistant, Google Maps, Alexa Built-in, a six-speaker audio system, SiriusXM satellite radio, voice recognition, Bluetooth, and eight USB ports.

    Ford’s Co-Pilot360 Assist+ comes standard. This suite of advanced safety features includes adaptive cruise control with stop/go, lane centering, evasive steering assist, and intersection assist. Additional safety technologies include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert with braking, a driver attention monitor, automatic high beams, a backup camera, hill start assist, hill descent control, and trailer sway control.
    The optional Active Comfort Package adds LED fog lights, remote start, a heated steering wheel, a universal garage door opener, Active X seat upholstery, an eight-way power front passenger seat, and second-row captain’s chairs. Models equipped with all-wheel drive can be upgraded with 20-inch wheels and a panoramic twin-panel moonroof.

    The 2025 Ford Explorer ST-Line
    The 2025 Ford Explorer ST-Line offers a sportier appearance and enhanced features. It features exclusive ST-Line styling elements, a distinctive black mesh grille, 20-inch ebony machined painted aluminum wheels, dual chrome exhaust tips, acoustic laminated front side windows, ebony and gloss-black interior accents, ambient lighting, and a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel. The seating is upgraded with ActiveX fabric featuring Miko inserts and red stitching.

    The audio system is upgraded to a premium 10-speaker premium Bang & Olufsen setup. Ford’s Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 comes standard, adding a 360-degree camera with split-screen capability. A 90-day trial of Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free driving assistant is also included.

    The optional Premium Package comes with auto-folding power side mirrors, an auto-dimming driver’s side mirror, rain-sensing wipers, a wireless charging pad, and a 110-volt outlet. Comfort features include ambient interior lighting, a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, multi-contour massaging front seats with driver’s seat memory, heated second-row seats, a power-folding third-row seat, and second-row sunblinds.
    The available ST-Line Street Pack comes with 21-inch wheels, performance brakes, and red-painted brake calipers. Ford offers several stand-alone options, including an extended one-year subscription to BlueCruise and a black-painted roof.

    2025 Ford Explorer ST
    The 2025 Ford Explorer ST caters to driving enthusiasts who crave performance in their family SUVs. It’s powered by a potent 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, churning out an impressive 400 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. This powerplant is mated to a SelectShift 10-speed automatic transmission, offering manual gear control via steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters for a more engaging driving experience.

    The ST starts with the features of the ST-Line trim. It adds several performance-oriented upgrades, including a sport-tuned suspension with stiffer shocks and springs, performance brakes with red-painted calipers, 21-inch alloy wheels, a blackout treatment for headlights and taillights, and a larger 20.2-gallon fuel tank.

    The cabin features a power-adjustable heated sport steering wheel, ActiveX heated and ventilated multi-contour front sport seats with microfiber inserts, a wireless charging pad, and exclusive interior colors and materials. Other standard features include second-row heated captain’s chairs with E-Z Entry, ambient lighting, second-row sunblinds, auto-dimming power-folding side mirrors, a power-folding third-row seat, and a 110-volt outlet. Audiophiles will love the standard 14-speaker premium Bang & Olufsen sound system.

    2025 Ford Explorer Platinum
    The range-topping 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum provides the height of luxury, offering a compelling alternative for those seeking premium features without the hefty price tag of a luxury-brand three-row SUV. The Platinum is powered by the standard 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. The 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 is available for those desiring more power.

    The Platinum adds to the features of the Active trim with the contents of the Active Comfort Package and many of the optional features from the ST-Line. Other standard features include 20-inch Luster-Nickel painted alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlights, heated and ventilated massaging front seats, heated second-row captain’s chairs, leather and Miko microfiber inserts, a leather-wrapped power-adjustable heated steering wheel, and a twin-panel power moonroof. Satin finish accents on the grille, door handles, and roof rack elevate the Platinum’s visual appeal.

    Standard technology and convenience features include rain-sensing wipers, auto-folding power side mirrors with a driver’s side auto-dimming function, second-row sunblinds, the Bang & Olufsen 14-speaker audio system, a 360-degree camera system, a wireless charging pad, and a 110-volt outlet.
    Ford’s CoPilot360 2.0 suite is standard. This package builds upon the CoPilot360+ features, adding the advanced Intersection Assist 2.2 system, front parking sensors, and a 360-degree monitor.

    The available Lux Leather Package introduces premium quilted leather upholstery with contrasting piping. Stand-alone options include a black painted roof, 20-inch polished wheels, and a second-row 35/30/35-split bench seat in place of the standard captain’s chairs.
